Director/Producer Alan Powell of Facilitator Films has been true to his production company name and has facilitated several partnerships in the financing of the production company's latest project, Good Intentions?? -a docudrama based on the true events of a secondary school student who suffered abuse at the hands of her boyfriend.
The project, commissioned by the Thames Valley District School Board in London, Ontario, was ambitious and Powell knew the budget would require more than what TVDSB could offer. Utilizing his relationships in the community Powell enlisted the financial support of the Centre for Research & Education on Violence Against Women & Children, 4th R, Changing Ways and Faye Peterson Transition House. The multi-partnership is the first time Facilitator Films has brought together various organizations for a community project that serves its youth.
